Little did I know, that my first part-time job in a mall passage selling canvases at a small exhibition stand in 2017, that the journey would lead us here.
AOA (Art On Anything) is not just a printing company; it is a South African dream come true. It is the story of two passions colliding to create a studio that puts craft before commerce.
Anele’s Journey
With over 6 years in the canvas printing industry, I have spent every day honing and mastering this craft. What kept me going through the early days—from that exhibition stand to where we are now—was the inspiration I found in the work itself.
For me, printing is never boring. I get to "travel" every single day. Through your photos, I visit weddings, holidays, and special moments. I share in your experiences through the images you trust us with.
Printing slowly became more than a job; it became a deep passion. Today, I bring that passion, alongside over 3 years of enterprise management experience, to AOA. It is a privilege to apply this experience to our own venture, built right here in Pretoria.
The Craft
An artist by nature, Phenius was discovered while still in school and immediately showed a natural gift for creation.
After school, he began an internship in framing and never looked back. Today, he brings a staggering 15 years of experience to the AOA studio. He doesn't just assemble frames; he engineers them. His wealth of experience and deep respect for the craft ensures that every piece leaving our studio is built to museum standards, not factory standards.
