Every print in our artist range is original work by South African artists we partner with, printed in our Meyerspark, Pretoria studio, hand-stretched over 30mm pine and ready to hang. Meet the artists below, or browse all their work in one place.
Sipho Ngwenya
My name is Sipho Ngwenya, I am a self-taught artist. My journey started when I was at my lowest in life, cognitive dissonance took a toll on me where I had to question my purpose to be alive. I felt like I was in a never-ending cycle, I knew I had to do something about my life that has meaning and was fulfilling but couldn't pinpoint what it was.
Subconsciously I randomly picked up a pencil and started sketching, I was shocked how my drawing turned out to be, since then I never stopped learning and sharpening my newly found "talent." Now I know where I belong and it's more than just fulfilling, it all made sense why I had to reach that point where I had to pause and re-align myself and my path has never been clearer.
My passion fuels me every day and I have a deep desire to constantly learn and grow. Every stroke, every shading, every nuance brings me closer to realizing the visions I hold within. The possibilities feel endless, and I can't wait to see what incredible masterpieces I'll create next!
